If you dont have the exact base wall paint color, simply go over the tape edge with wax or clear sealer before applying the other color. Works the same.

what brand and type of paint are you using that you're no worried about peeling off the paint together with the tape?... and i'm not talking about the paint UNDER the time, i'm talking about the film the paint forms over the tape that also goes over the black blocks,
