Transcript & Video Description:
Video opens with Asian Signers logo in a black background with an animated clockwise whoosh effect. It has a white text below the logo that reads "Asian Signers". Video transitions to signer, Myra, appearing to stand outside on a beach front of the wavy blue sea behind her. In the far distance, there is a view of the distant land.

Myra is a Guam woman who wears a sleeveless white floral pattern buttoned shirt. She has long black hair and tanned skin.

Myra: Hello! My name is Myra! This is my sign name. I am from Guam. I was born and raised here in this beautiful island! Here you see this beautiful beach! Now, let's get to know about Guam! Where is Guam located? It is located west of the Pacific Ocean where Australia lies south, Japan up north and Philippines to the west. Here is a picture of where Guam is!

A picture of close up geography of Guam appears on screen. Then a second picture appears which shows a more farther view of Guam located in a red pin surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, Asia continent to the left and the United States on the right.

Myra: You can see that Guam is really a small island! If you make a drive around the island, it will take you three hours. There are two seasons in Guam: dry and rainy seasons. There are no fall, spring, and winter seasons. Guam has been U.S. territory since 1898. Guam has two official languages. The first is the Chamoru language and the second being English.

Now I will talk about how much percent ethnic groups currently live in Guam. Guam currently has about 170,000 people. Guam is part of the Mariana Islands. Chamoru also means native people of the Mariana Islands. In addition to that, there are many other ethnic groups in Guam.

There is an estimate 40% of Chamoru population. There is an estimate 30% of Filipino population. There is an estimate 5% of Korean population. There is an estimate 7% of White population. In addition to that, there is a small percentage of other native islanders around Mariana Islands. Lastly, there is about 5% of various Asian ethnic groups. This sums up the entire Guam population!

I want to teach you some of Chamoru language! Chamoru and English are both different. In English, you say "Hello". In Chamoru, you say "Håfa Adai". As "Hello", this is the sign for "Håfa Adai". Now, Guam has two different words. In English, it's called "Guam". In Chamoru, it's called "Guåhan". Pretty cool, right?! Now you learned a bit of Chamoru language!

I hope you enjoyed learning about Guam! I hope you can also visit us as well! You're welcome to reach out to me! See you later! Bye!

Video transitions to various shots of Guam landscapes, events, nature, and parks/outdoors. Video ends. Fin.
