Dr. Robert Underwood is a renowned CHamoru educator, scholar and activist. He made a reputation for himself as a leading CHamoru activist in the 70s. Underwood served five terms as Guam’s Delegate in the U.S. House of Representatives and served as president of the University of Guam from 2008 to 2018. He continues to be a leading voice in CHamoru political and cultural issues.
