Gideon ended up on a barbecue, Mando is now waiting for unofficial missions. What is the plot? Someone is going to try to go after Grogu again or less likely, someone is after Mando. If I had to demand one character in this movie it would be Captain Rex, Temuera would only need a fake beard, plus it could be a way to keep Rex alive longer than you think, and there you go the idea: Following the end of the Empire, the New Republic offered Rex better than a medal, they gathered the few Kaminoans still alive and they stopped the accelerated aging of our favorite clone.

They should really keep the madalorian as a streaming series. Give us season 4. Then season 2 of Ashoka. Between those 2 having crossover blending. With the crossover blending, they really should include scenes or dialogue including Han, Lea, Luke and their development of how they got to where they were in the sequel trilogy. The cloning agenda of those from the empire has shown to be relevant even in The Bad Batch. They could really continue building the plot revolving around the cloning. Then move forward with a trilogy movie series. A movie series that puts them against Thrawn as the main villain. Ending or at least some development on the rise of Snoke.

That's the only way I could see justifying the horrible sequel trilogy we got. Having the bridges between the big screen movies, helps make the movies enjoyable. Even all the animated shows helped make things better between episodes 3 and 4.

I'm just a dreamer lol. Guess we'll see what happens. Rarely do producers and directors listen to fans.
