For a company that wants to be inclusive, they go out of their way to exclude fans that are unable to attend their events. By all means show the attendees exclusive early viewing of trailers but then release those same trailers globally, even a week later, for the rest of the world to see.

Disney is doing everything they can to make sure their one last good Star Wars show isn’t spoiled or leaked. Every one that came out recently before it bombed, except for Ahsoka, but I think that one still didn’t do as well as they wanted it too.

The reason for this is they are trying to get people to go to these events, with Disney only showing trailers for upcoming shows, such as ashoka at sw celebration 2023 and skeleton crew at d23 2024. And then showing exclusive trailers for shows releasing the following year.

Have to wonder if Disney is realizing how badly they screwed up by trying to milk Mandalorian for all the goodwill it has left, or if this was some delayed attempt to capitalize on the Mandalorian long after the fanbase moved on.

I wouldn't get too much on their case about this. There is more than just this clip that was exclusive for attendees.

They are doing this probably to shield themselves from any sort of dislike campaign or any eagle-eyed theorist that might spoil the plot. Plus trying to make these events far more worth attending. I don't like Disney, but can see the reason.
