Survivor art exhibit at Ohio University Eastern. by Brittany Grego “What were you wearing?," a survivor art exhibit, is now at Ohio University Eastern. The exhibit started in 2013 at the University of Arkansas and it went viral. Last year, Ohio University picked up its own version from survivors of sexual assault. Forty-two articles of clothing with biographies are inside the art gallery at Shannon Hall. It shows some heartbreaking stories of sexual violence. "We want people to know that sexual violence is wrong, rape, assault, it has no place in our society,” said EJ Schodzinski, director of external relations, OUE. “Often times, the first question victims are asked was, 'What were you wearing?' And it's done in a way to discredit them, and we want survivors to know we are here for them, we believe them, we support them and let them know that assault is wrong." The exhibit continues through March 29 at varied times throughout the day.
