For anyone watching this in 2025, I just passed today with a 90%. Lots of sectional chart, airspace class questions. Nothing super tricky. Most info is in the legend included with the test. A couple metar & TAF questions...also self explanatory. A few questions on fronts and cloud/frost formation along with flight safety and drone weight and center of gravity. Again, nothing super tricky. ZERO questions about airport runways, signs, directions, headings, etc, but that may just have been my test in particular. I watched this entire study guide last night as a last minute refresher and basically everything is covered. Best of luck!

I scheduled my test 3 days ago for it to be today. Ive been watching videos and will be taking it in 7 hours at 2pm. Ive been watching different 107 review videos for the past 3 days to understand everything because everyone has a different wording when explaining something. But this video is definitely good as he covered things more clearly and in depth than others I’ve watched. Thank you Matt, and wish me luck today.

Edit/update:
I got 80% with only a few days of studying. Don’t pay for training or prep stuff just watch this vid and/or other test prep.

It feels wrong watching this for free. I really appreciate you putting this together to help everyone out! Thanks Matt!

Thank you so much. I watched this last night, after two weeks of studying with other sources, and I passed today with a 93% on my first try. Your video helped me realize that I knew almost everything you covered and made me feel confident when going to sleep last night that I’d pass today. It also helped clarify a few things. Thank you!

OMG!! Peeps listen up! this video is a must-see before you take!!!
I took it today 4/12/2025 and passed, 88%. I used prep materials PLUS this video. MATT Thank you dude!
Okay I can't remember all of it but here is my study advice for people about to take it: of course understand study sectional charts, Airspace Classifications (I mainly had B and D), finding coordinates, category 1-4 items, Remote ID stuff (I got about 4 questions about this), night-time operations, METAR/TAF, hazardous flying, and a bunch of weather inversion), cg aft gravity, and I can't remember what else. I pray this helps!! YOU GOT Do not give up. Learning all this material is hard so don't feel bad that you aren't getting it all. YOU CAN DO IT and DON'T GIVE UP!!!

Thanks for this video! For anyone curious about a study process:

- First, watched the video at 1.5x speed without pausing.
- Scheduled my exam a day after the first viewing, giving me a week to prepare.
- Then, rewatched it while taking notes and pausing often.
- Reviewed notes sporadically in the days leading up to the exam.
- Spent the final two nights taking free practice exams online for about three hours each night.
- The video was great for base knowledge, but practice exams helped me spot gaps.
- Some practice exam questions weren’t covered in the video, so looking at practice exams sooner would have been wiser.
- Spent about 12 hours in total prep time
-There are likely more efficient study methods, but I didn’t spend anything beyond the $175 exam fee, so this worked for me.
- Scored 90% on my first attempt!
- Just put in the work, and you'll do great!

Definitely be familiar with all the topics in this video.

I watched this video about one and a half times. Took about 6-8 hours of practice tests online as well as familiarized myself with the different FAA policies and what not. Passed on 8/3/2024. Thank you so much for such a great video

Awesome Video!!! One clarification: a drone must be UNDER 55 lbs. not 55 lbs. or less. Thus, lbs. would fall under part 107 but 55.000 lbs. would NOT. You might think that is splitting hairs, but I've seen this as an exam question.
