thanks for the resources. Passed with 80%. I just want to leave a comment here for others studying to take it...there were a bunch of questions on there that in my own study I had not come across & was not prepared for... make sure you know about: functions of a plane's rudder (what it does), know about aft & how weight in relation to it can influence the aircraft, hyperventilation, & shapes of clouds & what that means (rain cloud etc) nimbus clouds, lenticular cloud. Hope this helps others. I'd recommend studying the 'Remote Pilot Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Study Guide' by the FAA it is 88 pages (good stuff)

Thank you for this! This was the last video I watched before taking my test today the chart you made of the 4 categories towards the end of the video helped me with two questions I would have otherwise had to best guess on. I studied pretty hard over the last two weeks, and this video was a great last minute summary/reminder of everything that made me feel confident that I knew my stuff going into the test. I passed on my first try with a 93% 😊

Taking my test tomorrow morning, I've primarily used the FAA study guide from 2016, and the Supplement booklet / laminated study guide as my primary resources. Thank you so much for going through this information! I'll check back with my score tomorrow.. Time for one last day of cramming :P

Thank you, very helpful. I like that you speak in a precise manner, no "FAA kinda wants you to know" etc.

Thank god you explained how to differentiate MSL and AGL. I was trying to remember the classes that use AGL and all that but just remembering its in parenthesis is 100x easier

You move fast but this is super helpful for someone who is already familiar with all of this and needs a refresher. I love how you matter-of-factly break down their questions. A lot of it is automatic once you understand the way they frame the questions.

Thanks for the content. Got my part 107 today and found your videos helpful. One thing I would maybe mention is I had 3 to 5 questions about airplanes that I had no idea how to answer. Haven't seen anyone on youtube talk about the things I was asked about. Thanks again for the great content!

I'm getting my part 107 pilot's license again after a couple years and this was the perfect video to brush up on what I had forgotten. Thanks for providing this awesome video!

Thank you for the video. I just passed the Part 107 test and it had maybe 10 questions from all the question banks and videos out there. There was maybe 20 questions chart related and many questions on new info not even in FAA study guide like foreigner with drone ID and many other remote ID, new fly over people, weight category3 of drones questions. Questions on chart were different and some small airports based structures were hard to find. But having all the info helped!

So concise and logically explained. I didn't think I'd ever see these qualities again on a youtube video. Seriously, Thank you. For my licensing, and my sanity.

I took the test recently after watching several videos and taking several online practice tests. I would say the actual time I devoted to study was about 6 hours. Passed with a 90%+. Not a single question from the practice tests I took was in the actual test. The actual test was trickier with wording in my opinion; that or the practice tests I found online simply use slightly different language. It often left me a little uncertain about answers. There were also several questions I never saw covered in any depth in those videos and practice tests, or covered at all, resulting in me having to guess. (Almost certainly the bulk of those I got wrong.)

That being said I was able, from using that material and doing my own research to fill in perceived gaps, to get a passing grade.

Good luck.

Edit: I came across at least one site that gave me a bogus low score on a practice test in an apparent effort to sell its test prep. Some also had grammatical errors and the questions and answers seemed dubious.

According to the ASA-TP-UAS-23 the unmanned aircraft’s serial number must be listed on the certificate of aircraft registration. You answered the aircraft’s document of compliance

Question 1346 on page 1-16 of the Remote Pilot 2023 Test Prep book is the same as your question 42 but they say the correct answer is "C--The Certificate of Aircraft Registration." You say it is A--The aircraft's Document of Compliance." Several internet sites also say "C" and the FAA website implies it is "C". Does anybody know the correct answer for sure???
