I just took the FAA 107 test on April 18th and got a score of 90. No online classes. I just studied every video I could find on YouTube as well as reading various articles and recommended study guides. Don't bother trying to memorize online sample test questions. You need to learn why and how regulations are the way they are and how they apply to various scenarios. Out of 60 questions on the test only about 20% were covered in those videos and study guides. The test I took was made up of questions you could answer only by studying weather systems, METAR reports, sectional charts, airspace, and various regulations covering drones and some common sense.

Thank you for taking time. Yours was one of the videos I came across when studying for FAA 107. I passed today with 97%. Over the moon! Thank you

Picture latitude lines like a LADDER. Latitude = Ladder. Ladders can be climbed; latitude lines are similarly arranged.

While studying, this is the best explanation about where the aircraft is located for that "midfield left downwind" question. 💚

This was a great resource to zero in on sectional maps. Most helpful with latitude and longitude. These similar map questions were basically on the test today. Same Figures. Passed 107 Today. Thanks for sharing this and explaining specifically how to count longitude lattitude "counting minutes" how and why. Cheers! Grateful 🙏

My eyes are worn out studying the Seasonal Charts... I appreciate how you are able to zoom into the charts and really see the details of the charts. I can not imagine going into the exam room w/ just an ordinary magnifying glass. I lost my expensive readomg glasses the other day... Maybe I need some glasses that my dentist uses to really zoom in and get better magnification... I am going to look into that now.

I like that the video gave/explained some of the concepts, just wish that the. print was larger or more leading lines were used.

@13:50 How did you determine what runway 13 was. I didn't any reference to north around that airport.

I've actually landed at Elizabeth City years ago!
The correct pronunciation of the airport on the CTAF question is: Coor-duh-LANE. 😎

Good info for sure. These maps are mind numbing.

Excellent going tomorrow to pass my Part 107 test. I didn't attend any training courses, and this is the only part of the testing criteria that just having common sense doesn't seem to be sufficient. Now, after watching a couple of other videos, this video has completely solidified my confidence. Thank You😃

It seems like most comprehensive guides are lacking info on sectional charts. Thanks for making this!

This looks pretty much like same test I took to get my private pilots license. Would someone explain to me
why I need to know all this when the rule is I can only fly 400 ft AGL and no further than VLS. A $150
ever 2 year. Fixed wing Remote operators don’t have to take a test. Since drones are much easier to fly, so there will be more involved so just another tax our government is posing on us for something we love to do.
