Mine is as good or better than most on hills. One thing you should check. One time b&b had wheel motor bolts get loose, so I decided to check mine an they weren't real tight either. I re torqued them to 75 lbs and I'm watching to see if they get loose.

Nice! I'd keep it. I think even if you put new motor, it's going to last you for a very long time. I'm looking at standon mowers also. I'm leading towards a rebuild. Basically total teardown from ground up. Just need the right price.😉
