I just bought the 52” xl 40 hp vangaurd. So excited im waiting for it to get here any day now. Ive been using a clapped out 20 year old hand me down residential 48” zero turn that got me started over the last 3 years but I desperately needed a commercial mower!

These are such grest machines. Scag truly does build the best machine out there.

Nice mower, but I don’t see any upgrade that can justify how EXPENSIVE they are; like $15k for a 52 expensive.. I only use 4-5 height settings on my VR2 (which I got brand new in 2018 for just over $8k, best investment I’ve made in my 33 years of life).
If you need more than 8 gal of fuel in 1 day, why not just have an extra gas can; and who’s cutting lawn at 6” ?!

Love my V-Ride. I'd love an XL, I'm not crazy at all about the blackout look they're going with now. It looks like when someone cheaps out repainting a mower by just using black spray cans.

I’ve always been a Scag guy for years, but the black is absolutely horrible.What they’re doing with more and more of thete machines I would never buy one with the black
