Hair stylist of 20 years here! So the peanut butter is the best. But only from the oil in it. So any kid of oil like veggie oil or coconut oil will work. Get the big chunks of gum out first and then rug with lots of oil or pb and it will break down the gum almost dissolving it It works.

I've used conditioner as well as coconut oil in the past. As well, warm water! Massage conditioner or oil around the afflicted area, then wash out with warm water. Delicately pull any strands out, then take a fine tooth comb to the rest.
You can also use spit! It's a bit gross, but if you can get the gum back in your mouth, your saliva's enzymes will break down the gum.

It’s peanut butter you need to put a lot of peanut butter that will get gum out of your hair. Usually people use ice before the peanut butter. Maybe the ice helps with the peanut butter I don’t know that much but yeah all I know is that you need peanut butter most likely I steal but yeah, next time can you please dye your hair with strawberries

Salt water! Works really well my friend got gum stuck in her hair 3 times in one day! And we only had to get water and salt mixed together only takes about 2 mins!

Olive oil works really good! Take the hair that has gum on it. Fill a little bowl or glass with olive oil. Take the hair with gum and get it in there all the way and leave it there for 20 min :))

First take off the gum that was not that much stuck then use two ice cubes and put it on the sides of the gum for a while then it will come out easily
