5 STRANGE THINGS about the CHRIS WATTS case PART 3 - NICHOL KESSINGER

This video is Part 3 of my series – “5 things that make no sense with the Chris Watts Case” - I am talking about Nichol Watts –and trying to make sense of some of her unsual comments and behaviours.

My guess is if you’ve clicked on this video then you are probably already familiar with the crime and have come here to discover my opinion on the mistress in the story, Nichol Kessinger.

Whilst there are many things we could focus on with Nichol, I simply can’t fit them all into this video – so I will answer 4 fundamental questions:

1) Is Nichol lying
2) Was Nichol directly involved in the murders
3) Did she manipulate Chris into killing his family
4) Is she (or more accurately, was she at the time of the murders) mentally unstable?

If you want the answers now, here they are in short - but watch the video to see how I came to these conclusions.

1) Is Nichol lying -
YES, she lied about a lot of things

2) Was Nichol directly involved in the murders
There is no evidence I could find that suggests she was directly involved. The only thing I am left unsure about is the theory about her being put into witness protection which could explain why she disappeared and why Chris was convicted so quickly and avoided a trial – but my overall best guess is no, she was not. She has simply gone off the grid and started a new life somewhere else.

3) Did she manipulate Chris into killing his family
I believe she did but it was unintentional.
I also think this is the guilt, embarassement and shame she felt in the interviews which appears as though shes hiding something.
Once she realized what this man was capacble of – she probably also realized the unintended role she played in it
She probably did put pressure on him to leave his wife – the house hunting for him, the wedding dress searches, the comments about wishing he didn’t already have a family, etc
She had the power in the relationship without knowing it – he was addicted, obsessed, narcisstic and sociopathic – I believe when CW left for that final week in North Carolina, NK gave him an ultimatum and this ultimatum became deadly.

4) Was she at the time of the murders) mentally unstable?
No I see no signs of mental illness
What I do see is arrogance, immaturity, ego, pride, poor insight and very bad judgment
I see some risk taking behaviur and a woman without responsibilities and maturity -

I cant find any personality traits that would suggest borderline or narcissim – and no psyhcosis or delusions
She was dishonest, a bit self centred, and she certainly has a sexual energy – in spiritual terms, a Jazabel energy to her which she also used to allure Chris
But no psychopathology that I can observe.
So no mental illness that is apparent

My conclusion is Nichol was probably not involved in the murders and once again, the only person that I am able to attribute guilt to – is Chris watts alone.

Kessinger claims that she was "hanging out" with Watts for a few weeks, she believed that he was single and had separated from his wife, she urged him to reconcile with his wife and this is her story and she is sticking with it. The truth is that she threw herself at a married man and tried to break up his family and that is what she is desperately trying to cover up.

NK.. my best friends dad died and like that was a pain because she was crying and needy and like I just needed her to focus on me and shut up, and definitely don’t talk to media…. NK is a real piece of work

She’s so cavalier about everything. She talks and acts like a child. Fidgeting and sliding in her chair, saying like too much. She’s extremely annoying to watch. I cant imagine having to deal with her in any capacity

Nichol has no alibi for that morning, she at the very least knew a lot more than she admits to.

Why did she tell Watts to delete his social media and his texts etc? Even before the murders occurred? How did she know SW wouldn't be returning for her wedding and engagement ring when she told Watts to pawn SW and the children had only been missing about 12 hours at that point, as far as anybody knew?

It’s so unfortunate that Chris didn’t meet NK before Shanann. They deserved each other.

No matter how many times I watch this interview I walk away with the same feeling. The police let her off easy. Way too easy. I GUARANTEE you that anyone else who said they deleted text messages would be immediately be deeply investigated. Her involvement to me is so patently obvious. Her zero lack of empathy. Four people died and she doesn't care. She was more worried about her job than she was anything else. Now is being heartless and selfish a crime? No. But deleting the text messages is highly suspicious. She said she never met the kids but then later on in another interview she says "how could he hurt kids who were like this little" and she holds up her hand to demonstrate height. How would she know how tall those kids were or why even make a reference to it?

It's so good to see people who actually know what they are talking about discuss this.

The amount of emotional comments on the internet is bizarre. I'll never understand why people feel so personally victimised by Nichol and that they know better than the actual qualified officials that handled the case.

By her actions, she NK WAS pressuring Watts to leave his wife

Just a small correction: She contacted the police after Anadarko had reveald the email correspondanse between her and Chris. So it's not like she did it because she wanted to. The police also knew about the missing sheets on the bed prior to her telling it. And with regards to the police stopped investigating her was because Chris confessed and stopped it. That was frustrating according to Tammy Lee, the female investigator that did the polygraf and the second interrogation along with Grahm Coder from FBI..

NK knew of Shannon for a long time. She followed her for a year.
She’s sneaky and a home wrecker .
She lives on the ledge . Gotten herself in many a corner’s.
You arnt doing ALL of your homework on NK.

You will find out in near future.
NK dad has much to do with why
the detective’s didn’t pursue her harder. The dad told them straight up if they ask her things that was not right, as to trip her up…. They will leave and not be back.!! NK has been in trouble before with other guys.
Chris knows how much she is involved . He will talk at some point, and tell what part she played. Her words gets her in much trouble. She KNEW to erase her texts messages to Chris and his to her. She KNEW WHY she had to erase it. Yep!!

Great video! I always appreciate when a professional psychologist shares their thoughts on cases. Excellent analysis. I agree that a lot of her behavior resulted from shame and embarrassment, but I also think a lot of her behavior shows a shocking callousness. I can see in the first interview how she might have been freaking out and therefore downplayed things, in a fight or flight way. But in the next interviews she could have come clean - “I’m so ashamed of how I acted in this relationship” “I told him I wanted to give him a son” etc. But she held that line about encouraging him to fix his marriage, and we can see from the discovery that this was not truthful.

They went out for like 2 months. It wasn’t love it was obsession. Chris would have been unhappy for a long time and thought about getting rid of his family, this obsession might have been a needle point that tipped him over. People say he showed no signs and only thought about it because of this affair. I think this is rubbish, no one knows what went on in his head.
She also says they understood each other, he could be himself etc. this could mean he confided in her about how he felt about his wife and kids, she could of supported his intentions and told him she’d help. A woman and children were murdered and she’s not even concerned, except to hide messages and defend herself.

NK only fronted up to police after she knew her Anadarko boss had already contacted them and handed over her and Watts emails, which were the boss and other already knew of her affair with Watts. people noticed Nk went to police with a highly sanitized version of the affair, in an attempt at the "damage control" she and her father were always talking about. And we now know that Watts wasn't the only Anadarko employee she was having an affair

3 innocent children and a wife are murdered and her googling a book deal is "just a thought" is ridiculous. She needs to confess, repent, come clean, while she has time. She is as nadty as the watts family.
