If God was more obvious to us, the skeptic would complain that God is too coercive.

Its always "if God doesnt do it the way I want, I refuse to believe."

A human telling God what He "should" be by fallible man's standards instead of trying to understand how God IS doesn't usually work out well. 🤔

You know what’s better than a message in the sky or inscribed on the moon for all to see? A book that can be personally handed from person to person, that can never be changed and is fixed in a historical category by evidence and tradition. It’s almost like God knew we would think this way.

Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

5:50 the Bible teaches you everything. God did come teach us as Jesus Christ. Wow, these kind of people are so lost! They need our prayers brothers and sisters. 🙏

Another great video sir. In regards to the communication argument this young man is pontificating, it is an obedience problem not a communication problem. I have told my children when they were young to not do something that I knew would hurt them and they did it anyway. Why? Because they failed to obey. They knew the information and chose not to heed it.

If this young man were to open the word of God with the intention of finding God, he would probably find what he was looking for. God tells us to be still. He tells us to live a quiet life, and be quick to listen and slow to speak. God is found when we slow down and seek him, laying our presuppositions aside. Likewise, when you read Acts 2:42-47, the church grew by devoting themselves to the apostles teaching, prayer, and breaking bread. People found God in fellowship. I would be willing to bet this young man does life his own way, largely by himself, and as we've learned from human history, man, when left to his own devices, is capable of a fair amount of sin. We need the fellowship of others to help us in our walk. "Where there is no guidance a people falls, but in the abundance of counselors there is safety" Proverbs 11:14

Praying for your ministry.

If a God is all knowing and all powerful, they could do anything, but they also have more wisdom to decide what to do. Maybe we are not wise enough to see that God's choices are best.

God has seen these fools through all the ages.

His presumption is that it’s God’s fault for not communicating well enough. Never a thought that maybe it’s his hardness of heart that prevents him from listening. “Well, God wouldn’t have made humans like that.” He didn’t; man rejected God. He presumes his cognitive abilities and senses give him true information about the world, such that he could recognize perfect communication. A HUGE assumption given his starting point of naturalism.

This man is a perfect example of Romans 1. Men can’t find God for the same reason criminals can’t find the police. Praying for him tonight, that he might know the true and living God.

"bro, why didn't ge make it obvious?"
He did, and they killed him for it.

Well done. You said it for what it is. They don't believe because they don't want to. They love their sin more than the Savior. (Jn. 3:19-20)

This guy is a good example of the opposite of humble... prideful assertions, full of assumed but unsupported "truth", sure that he knows, ultimately to be his own god. A heart of stone, fully submitted to Satan's lies. Pray for him.

I reject his presupposition that he knows how to do things better than an all-knowing God. Next.

His presupposition is and stems from the first sin. The sin that he knows better and can decide what is right for himself because of his knowledge. In a sense, he makes himself his own god.

Another great succinct response. Praise God for faithful followers to teach as they have been gifted. God Bless you Nate.

"seeing isn't believeing, believing is seeing." (The santa clause) Didn't understand that for a long time. My mother said something really profound and I like it alot. "The best proof we have of God is the believer." And I think that these two lines go really well together.

God’s abandonment wrath :
“Claiming to be wise they became fools”
Therefore God gave them over to a depraved mind

Wouldn’t it be cool if we had a God who could make everything we needed to know very clear for us?
I’ll raise you one, a God who will lead you into all truth, that is guide you through your life.

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
… However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.”
‭‭John‬ ‭16‬:‭7‬-‭8‬, ‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

What the children call "logic" is more like adolescent whining. I know because I was once a young idiot, too.
