Another great video James, I'm happy that you've found the time to revive this series 😊
I didn't know much about Crocuses except for the fact that there were thousands growing around the city of my birth, Nottingham, many years ago.
I recently watched a YouTube video about them on the Nottsflix channel which was titled, When The Meadows was Meadows.
As you may have guessed, the area where they used to grow was built on and named The Meadows. There's also a Crocus Street in The Meadows in memory of the Nottingham Crocuses, one of which was an autumn crocus if I remember rightly.
I shall be moving permanently to Northumberland, hopefully in February, and I hope to grow some of the county's native flora in my garden.
I already have lots of Purple Toadflax, which was new to me so quite exciting, and I had some Purple Toadflax plants that were pale pink too.
I hope you find time to continue this series, I shall look forward to your next video.
