Finally, a lesson that recognizes the Nashville-tuned guitar in the song. Well done.

My favorite thing about your lessons, besides the fact that they're accurate, is that you really love these songs; some of them.  At least that's the way it feels.  Thanks again :)

dude, who the heck are you!?!? You are such an excellent guitar player on both acoustic and electric that I can't help wondering about your own personal music career outside of your excellent Youtube channel. Your lessons are so complete and easy to understand that it has the effect of being taught by an old friend in my living room! You are by far the best song learning resource on the internet. Also, you give hope and encouragement to those of us who were not blessed with those long spidery guitar playing fingers that I often see, and am so envious of. Thank you so much for your channel, I've learned so much from you. Keep up the good work!

The way you pick up on the tunings is absolutely amazing. I always thought it was a 6 string standard tuning, 12 string standard, and an electric on top of it. Not many people can recognize Keith's tunings, not to mention the nashville tuning with Taylor.

Thank you for very clearly showing us how this song, and others are played, and doing it in such a professional and expert manner, without all the time wasting, obnoxious chatter!
God bless!

I decided to work on this a while back and began to hit the tutorials. I always check yours out because it you want accuracy in content and vibe you are the man. However, you scared me off with the Nashville thing at the beginning and I ended up wasting hours trying to work thru a massive series of subpar lessons that were all over the map. I found my way back to this and wow. This is spot on. Your breakdown is understandable, most of all you "get" and seem to appreciate Keith. After all that really is the most important element in this song. Thank you!

The three parts mesh together without trodding on each other, and this Richard's acoustic part is very complete and sounds great by itself with vocal as well, no need to try combining everything.

When i was a teenager i have spent hours, and hours to try to find this song on my guitar just by listening the record. I knew there were 3 guitars so it was very difficult to identify each guitar. I thought there was a 12 strings guitar tuned in standard shape + a 6 strings guitar tuned in standard shape and finally a 6 strings electric guitar tuned in standard shape . The problem was that it was a little bit confused and to play that on a twelve strings guitar is a real torture. The real secret is that he uses a 6 guitar with strings at the higher octave plus a 6 strings guitar tuned in open G and a 6 strings electric guitar tuned in standard shape !!! It works perfectly. Thank you.

Your on another level with the teaching accuracy far beyond any other person on YouTube. And as a perfectionist I truly appreciate you. Nothing irks me more than not playing shit correctly. Even one note off is a problem for me. Thanks again my friend. I literally tell everyone about your channel

In all the years I've been playing I have never heard of a Nashville tuned guitar. What a cool idea and a beautiful unique sound. Love your videos man. Easy to follow and explained perfectly. You have an amazing ear for detail and I pick up a lot of little things I seem to have overlooked along the way. Keep up the great work and thank you.

I need a site that has lessons for a guitarist and you're it. I know there's a need for for guys who teach every phrase note after note repeating and repeating slowly. But I'm really glad I found your site.
