15 Strict Rules The Twilight Cast Were Forced To Follow On Set

Over the course of the five Twilight films, the actors involved had a ton of strict and intense rules they had to follow to avoid being fired from their jobs! Today, we’re taking a look at what the cast had to deal with and one instance where an actor even lost their job due to a minor breach of contract.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s ill-fated romance was once a forbidden love since the actress was underage when the actors met and filmed the first movie. We all know that rule wound up being broken soon enough. The rules they had to follow began before the actors were even cast when they had to perform an intimate scene on the director’s bed.
Poor Taylor Lautner had to up his fitness routine to keep his role as Jacob and while he did the work and looked incredible, he definitely didn’t anticipate having to be shirtless so often. Rachelle Lefevre wound up taking on a small role in another project, but the producers claimed she was breaking a rule in her contract because they didn’t have enough time to work the schedule around her for the ten days she wasn’t available, so the actress was replaced in the end.
Part of being in such a huge franchise includes lots and lots of fan interaction - and the Twihards were a force to be reckoned with! Pattinson took matters into his own hands and took one lucky fan for dinner, but it definitely wasn’t what she was hoping for or expecting. So if they hated the script so much, and the acting, and the fame, why not just quit. These movies made stars out of relatively unknown actors who have the audacity to complain non stop about how awful it was to be employed on such a horrible movie. Either of these people ever heard of grace or humility? Both continue even more than a decade later to voice how beneath them these films were. Very ungrateful and ungracious behavior…shame on them.

Pattinson is a brat. Hardwicke made them into who they were meant to be. She followed Meyer's books so we'll the other movies just could flow. Personally, I loved the books because a young, awkward teenage girl was the absolute hero in the end. All the vamps who were so much more, needed her to survive. That really resonated with me. Teen years can be hell for girls. Stewart has really excelled in her craft. Hardwicke is a phenomenal director, no green screens used in her Twilight feature. The only actor who had a genuine beef was Rachelle. The filmmakers made scheduling very flexible for the actor who played the Tracker. They changed things around a lot so he could complete his work in time for him to do another project. Rachelle should have been given some leeway. She was great in Twilight and New Moon. She had an edginess that really worked. 👵🕯️
