Twilight Cast Pranks And Behind The Scenes Bloopers

There was drama, romance, and a whole lotta laughs throughout the filming of the Twilight Saga. Considering there were five movies and much of the cast was around for the majority of the time, actors got loopy and tried to liven things up a bit, playing jokes on each other and the crew members. How far did they go just to get a laugh?
While there were loads of small-scale pranks on set on the daily, one prank really was the one to end all pranks. The majority of the cast got in on this one, planning a special flash mob surprise for director Bill Condon in the middle of filming one day. With so much money on the line and a tight schedule though, it wasn’t necessarily the ideal time. How did Condon feel about it in the end?
Robert Pattinson was pretty serious on set but he took part in some jokes - but even more so, pranks were played on HIM. Unfortunately, they often went over his head though, leaving many a joke to fall flat. While he was supportive of his castmates playing jokes and enjoyed the fun that came from them on set, when Bryce Dallas Howard enlisted him to help her pull off a big trick on the crew, Pattinson REALLY let her down.
Kristen Stewart had to deal with the special effects quite literally raining on her parade - leaving her to feel like she was drowning on totally dry land! The set got the best of her and co-star Taylor Lautner when it came time for them to carry out a deceivingly simple task - opening a car door. And then there was GFYS - a prank that swept through the cast and crew, and likely resulted in a lot of contributions to the swear jar set up to discourage swearing around the young Mackenzie Foy.
Making movies is hard work, but as exhibited by the Twilight team - it can also be way more fun than you’d imagine!
