Garbage disposals are cool but you need to turn on the water before flipping on the switch for the disposal. If you do not, you will destroy the motor of the disposal.

Possums are awesome- they kill and devour roughly 5, 000 ticks a year as they’re grooming marsupials. they’re not pretty but they are welcome on most rural woodland homesteads. We often find them snoozing in our henhouse (eating our chicken feed) but leaving our chickens be as well as our eggs.

When my English friend visited his enthusiasm for the garbage disposal should have told me not to leave him home alone with it . I came home from work to a kitchen with about 1/4 the food it had when i had left. This after just stocking up for his month long visit! No more fruit and veg, an entire jar of 40 boiled eggs, party size package of hotdogs! I got even with him though, i got him good and stoned one evening and in the morning i found teeth marks in the wax fruit!

We do have Cadbury eggs in the US. At grocery stores in the US there is a "seasonal" aisle. And every season is candy.

The drive-thru at pharmacies is only for prescriptions btw. You can't get paracetamol through the drive-thru

When you have kids, drive thrus are life savers. You can get your food, coffee, pharmacy and banking all done from your car without having to go inside.

If you are doing air b&bs you might run across a garbage disposal. Just remember, first check to make sure a piece of silverware/cutlery hasnt fallen down in the disposal. If one has you should be able to see it standing up in the drain. Second, run the water when running the disposal, it washes everything down the drain, keeps the blades cool, and helps keep a nice balance in the disposal. You can tell when its done by the sound, usually few seconds or so are enough unless you put a lot of food down there. Dont stick your hand down there unless youre sure nobody is near the on/off switch, which looks just like a light switch.

An interesting thing about chicken wings, is they weren’t originally to sought after and they were pretty cheap then as the “Buffalo wing” started growing in popularity (Mostly at bars to begin with)..they were .10 cents a wing (not a bad deal)..and as the popularity of wings grew so did the price!..but that doesn’t stop people from ordering them!

As an American, I can safely say the only mattress size that outside of the standard ones that I've heard of is California king. Wyoming, Alaska, and Texas have me completely baffled.
