not all crewmen are the same so speeds can vary but still quite cool

Welp, time to leak classified documents

t72b, reason why its faster is because the gunner has to press a button to engage the autoloader. the irl guy probably sluggish

The first guy already had the shell in his hands

Edit: I’m saying all the other guys don’t so it’s not very fair

That is the slowest I’ve seen a American tank crew reload their gun

Petition for War Thunder to expect every loader to already be holding the shell like the first one, so we can all have insanely quick reloads

doesnt it depend on how fast the loader loads the shell ?

That Abrams reload is "unacceptable" by the training standards.

everybody knows that wearing gas mask decreases speed by 50%

Maus: Switching to your sidearm is always faster than reloading

А теперь представьте как долго они будут заряжать пушку во время едзы по пересеченой местности.

type10 recharge in the game: 4 seconds, on board the ratatata
Type10 recharge in life: 3 seconds, I'm a machine gun!

On the t-72, the gunner hadn't pressed the reload button till about 3 sec in, you can see the gun still being stabilized and the shell casing not ejecting.

The reason for this is that they wanted to leave room for the gunner to switch shell types if he wanted, or to leave the gun unloaded, or, if the autoloader mechanism failed, to load the gun manually.

Ayo the abrams crewman actually reloaded below the required time to pass the training sooo

I love how we never take into account the fact that say in a driving tank the loader would have a way tougher time to load the gun compared to when standing still. An autoloader doesn’t care. It’s a mechanism that will do its job the same way in any given scenario any time. It’s just way more difficult to take the human factor into account that’s why we have a constant reload speed in war Thunder I get that. But next time anyone wants to talk realism please consider the effects of real life (being realism).
