Good on the daughter for standing up to her mother and going for the tube rather than risky surgery. Even if it's a little, and the mother sadly will be haranguing the daughter for months, it's a step in the right direction.

I can’t with this mom. I can’t stand her. Basically all i hear is: “Appearance, Get thin, i’m always right.”

The amount of mothers who give trauma like EDs to their daughters because they refuse to deal with their own trauma is insane. Even if this girl doesnt have ED now, she is on her way to develop it or a bunch of other horrible things. Our worst issues come from the traumas those who raised us give us.

Yeah of course Dr Manning thinks she knows how to diagnose an eating disorder better than the psychologist. Pretty obvious when she happily ate the burger that she wasn't anorexic.

I know manning isnt talking about whats right or wrong when she herself ignores patient and goes for what she thinks is right.

they have multiple episodes in one so a bit confusing.

I don't get why giving a patient a placebo would be unethical, especially when it's not obvious that they need real medication.

I just went thru my 69 yr old father going thru kidney failure, 24ish hours away from death. I’m now super sensitive to kidney failure. He went so downhill in the days leading up to his hospitalization but we still thought he was ‘himself’. He was REALLY not.

This is also a continuation of Chicago police episode, Dr. Dean Rivel is the culprit.

Dr. Manney is so over the top, like she knew like what going on. Instead listening the other doctor diagnosis.

The least the son could have done, was cared for his mother more. She cared for him his whole life, the least we can do is care for our own mothers. Yes and I understand if you had a horrible mother, she can stick it. I’ve that with my “ father”.
