1:23 just note that even though it's a lot less CC, the zx4rr does make more power than 2 cylinder 650s above 10k rpm. It's tame when you want it to be, and revving it up makes it go. It's a lotta fun

The 40th anniversary is the way to go. Here in the USA the 40th anniversary has been available since December. I bought a zx4rr 40th anniversary on December 20, 2023. I put a Yoshimura AT2 slip on it with no baffles. What a difference that little mod made to the sound of the bike. I put up a YouTube short with me reving up the bike if you are interested in hearing it.

I love the 400 form factor. Owned 3 FZR-400's. If I were to buy a 400RR, it would be the basic model with full exhaust (no cats) added and an ignition re-flash and high performance tires. The gains in performance would make a perfect track bike.

I bought from Kawasaki clay cross the 400 performance just over a year ago it is fantastic I am 82 years old and when I get to one of my favourite spots and take my helmet off people look gobsmacked when does my age and I tell them I get my numbers modelled up I can assure you I'm not 28 as I tell them when I was 50 my son and I both had licences practice days occasionally professionals unlock me I have had quite a few bikes in my lifetime is the all round superbike for me thank you for your wonderful video yours sincerely John 😊

Think it's awesome but I think a black version or something less violently green would be a great option however, I understand it is kawasaki. Hoping it does sell well and other manufacturers follow suit with small capacity 4 bangers

Thruxton, T120, T100, and the speed twin 1200.
These bikes look so similar that the differences are difficult to distinguish when looking at just one. Having them all lined up and explained would make for a great video.

In Thailand I had a black ZX4rr with 86bhp. That’s the result of a steel mesh air filter and full yoshimura exhaust system. I sold it tho for a twin 650 as I needed something with better mileage and comfort (I was doing like 500k a week)

i heard somewhere if you open up the intake and exhaust and chiptune it to bring the fuel to the right level (factory tune is very lean) itll actually make a similar amount of power to the other bikes. also you should take out the db killer itll make more power up top.

The ZX-4R has no real competitors. I'm sure less than 1% of all people looking to buy a ZX-4R are considering buying any of the other bikes mentioned in this video instead.

Bar height. Could you not just lower the clip ons down the fork stanchions? Making sure the bars etc clear the tank/fairing on full lock.

The only downsides are it's 15k here in Australia and we don't get the 40th anniversary edition

I can confirm these are a very fun great handling smaller capacity bike and offer a more involving ride and are better spec than the R7. However after riding one I ultimately decided on the ZX636R as that bike has a more usable power delivery for the road.
