When stopped at a roadblock ask for the legal document from JMPD to have a roadblock..ask the police officer for their appointment cards, then see if the officer is fully wearing official uniform which the shield of the police force is clearly visible with the officers name and surname on the shield and make the details is the same on the shield or the appointment card. If not then it is a illegal stop and it can be taken further. Make sure if blo for a alkohol test is is a new blow pipe which is sealed and you must open it, ask for the calibration certificate of the blow machine. Of none is given them the arrest or the blowing is illegal. If have someone with you record the whole stop from beginning to end it is your right. Of being arrested ask why are you arrested, ask for your rights immediately. Don't get aggressive as police officers are already very aggressive and abusive. If the officer wants money tell them to piss off and let them arrest you. If they take you to a ATM go with them but use a ATM where is camaras and keep the slip and make sure you report corruption immediately at the SAPS.
