I've been binge watching the last few days. I'm not a PA. I am an employee of a water restoration company to collect our invoices. I went from straight collections to a claims coordinator working with insurance companies. Now moving into project coordinator tying first contact to sales to production to billing and collecting payments. Knowing how to "work" the insurance providers is extremely helpful and benefits both my company and our customer. Learned a few things from you and I appreciate it. I know more of what I need the sales reps to bring to the attention of the customer at the outset, and more.

Yes. Contractors call constantly. Including at like 12am. I shut my phone off on live shows, or have someone answer it for me because Elite Ninja Roofing (made up but sounds right) will call asking me the same question they asked yesterday and I will remind them they still haven't sent me their final invoice....again. I love roofers tho....they bring in the $$$.

Hey Vince, couple of comments. So far Unviersal is the only one I am seeing with 2 party appraisal. Also, USAA also does not allow the pa to be the appraiser.

Good video. Would you be willing to do a video on how to get a court appointed umpire?

Vince, I am a PA just North of you in GA. I do about 80+ Appraisals a year for the last two years. I was told that with the Demand letter, you have to also submit an estimate to establish the dispute. Is that your experience also?

Thanks for watching the video guys! I hope you've learned something new. ✊

And if you need more in-depth training that will and...

✅ You want to MAXIMIZE claim payouts which means more money in YOUR pockets.
✅ You want to learn the process and have more time for your family, friends, and hobbies you LOVE!
✅ You don’t want to screw up and look stupid in front of a client, or other adjusters.
✅ You want to become confident and way less stressed when you deal with the insurer.
✅ To have lifetime support with your claims.

Good luck with all those claims!
Vince

Louisiana appraisers have to be licensed. We may be the only state to license appraisers.

So are you saying you get around the "disinterested" part by charging hourly as an appraiser instead of a percentage? And you are still not hiring an appraiser, but you're still doing the appraisal yourself correct?

What about Appraisal inspection? What do they look for?

Sorry for all the questions. Is it true that you cannot go to appraisal for coverage issues? As an example, if they do apply coverage for a small amount of damage to a roof ( .33 sq approved for hail), but don't apply coverage for the rest of the roof that has the exact same documented damage that looks the same as the damage that they applied coverage to. Would I not be able to take them to appraisal because they consider it a coverage issue? Thanks for all your help.

I'm taking a course and theres a question that goes, " A tree fell on top of a home owners house, damaging the roof of the house and also knocking down a power line, all the food in the freezer worth $1, 000 went to waste. What does your insurance NOT cover. A. The cleanup of debris, B. To Replace the Tree, C. The food in the freezer, D The roof of the house. I was wondering if you could help, this is the best i could remember the question. Does it matter whether it is a Home owner or not? Thank you!
