If you're a poor, try drip irrigation with milk jugs. Puncture a small hole in jug you were going to throw out anyway, fill, put next to plant, profit.

I got my strawberries from you weeks ago in upstate SC mountains. We have been planting trees etc. Food forest. I was about to put the strawberries in but our weekly outlook if before tropical storm comes Thu. But Saturday we're dropping in the 30's for a few nights if planted in ground am I still safe and mulch heavy and cover. Or wait. Thank you

Thanks Greg. I started with a 30 by 30 and it’s a handful. I got it in late so didn’t grow much but peppers and tomatoes. Had a good crop even with the late start rhanks again for the information. Havagudun.

@greg... I live near macon and need to break up the GA clay in my yard to use it for my garden. I've bought some gypsum from y'all to add to the clay. I can't find anything on how long this process takes to breakdown the clay into something more usable. Any suggestions or info to help us out? Thanks! ps.. I'm digging a root cellar by hand 10x13x 5ft deep so far...to give you an idea of just how much I'm working with... a ton.

Next year I plan to use a few raised gardens closer to the house because I’m getting older and I think it’ll just be easier in the years to come. I’ll still utilize my regular gardens for just my squash’s and pumpkins.

I need a good irrigation system just not sure how to install. I have raised beds and in ground beds. Gets confusing.

Nice to see a dwarf zinnia variety that really is dwarf. I grew a variety that was only supposed to be semi dwarf and while the flowers were smaller, the plant itself was just as tall as taller varieties like the Benary giants.

Thank you for all your tips, I use rain barrels with a pump, as I’m on a dug well here in the woods . Can you yes the irradiation take on a timer useing that during the day???
