Normally I as a master ptr pro, would have the student start from the service line and then progress back to the baseline for this exercise taking about service angle. He is trying to get the student to do a kick serve that jumps off the court but he isn't explaining anything. Has to do with toss at 11 and hitting ball on left side following through on right side. He says spin but doesn't mention what type of spin or where to aim in box. Kick serve u want it to kick to right high way outside of court opening up a return to ur forehand court so u can return it to opponents far court. Keep em running.

Im surprised there was no suggestion to toss the ball a bit more forward... for the spin i guess

The only problem is that his opponent is going to read the kicks serve because the toss is so extreme...

He asked the young man if he knew how to create more or less spin . The kid showed him that he knew how. Coach never offered to show him how!😉

Personally I don't think he is a very good technical coach regardless of his credentials regarding players he's coached. Serena would have been great even if Elmer Fudd would have been coaching her. He didn't do much for Rune.

Wrong....he says Great when ball toss is way too far behind his head...that's a tell to his opponent that a kick serve is coming....and it doesn't allow for full acceleration so he shouldn't be telling the player that what he did was great when in fact he's teaching improper technique....very poor coaching....same coaching inability displayed w encouraging Serena to cheat...and doping Halep without her knowledge.... fraudulent
