The Secret to a Fulfilling Life - Consume Less, Create More

Today we're talking about a simple rule that I use in order to have a fulfilling life - consume less, create more. It's one of my top 4 rules for life in 2021 and I truly believe it is the key to a life more interesting and full of experiences.

The best part: it's not even that difficult. I mean, sure, there are times that we're unable to do anything else than just watch movies all day, but there are also a lot of times when we could be creating something, but aren't.

Just wanted to clarify: consuming less and creating more doesn't mean never consuming and always creating. We all get burnt-out, we all need breaks, we all need time to recharge. In such times, consuming content that inspires us, that motivates us or simply that helps us relax is indeed beneficial. I just want to shift the proportions of how I spend the majority of my time from consumption to creation 😊

Wow, we just came to your channel from Nathaniel Drew’s comment section and love your vibe and the topic of this video! We've actually been thinking about how we are the last generation that had a fantastic childhood and how much the generation that is born post-covid will be affected. In any case, that's a tangent haha- we've been creating much more than consuming and definitely find more fulfilment in that. Starting our youtube channel with the mission to make self improvement fun has been one of the highlights of our life for sure (i know a little dramatic but it's true haha) 🙌. With that said, we still believe that consuming can be a great source of inspiration, when it is followed by action! such a beautiful video and so insightful - my brother is currently 13 years old and I'm 19 turning 20 soon and I'd have to agree with you. My brother has definitely experienced some very cool things and being honest he is incredibly creative but in a very different way. His creativity comes from adaptation of things he's consumed for the most part whereas my early creativity always came from experience
