I think the short did not express an important thing before wishing on the weapon banner

if you're f2p, NEVER spend on it when you don't like at least ONE of the featured weapons (eg: donut aka Kokomi's weap, the unforged, and other "trap" 5* weaps").

When you are going to decide if you're finally going to wish on the weap banner, do it on those banners where both featured ones are favorable for you, or those incredibly good ones like the upcoming Homa x Simulacra banner.

A good weapon is an increase in stats, once u play enough u won't really care about that, a character in the other hand is a full model with animations and gameplay, 1nd that characters might unlock many team comps to try

I always, every weapon banner, do one 10 pull. That way I’m always slowly building pity but also you can just get lucky and get a weapon sometimes which has happened to me before.

Once you have two teams built, it makes sense to wish for a weapon, especially if your two mains use the two weapons on the banner (that's a 75% success rate)

Here's why you don't need the weapon banners:

#1 a new character means a new way of playing the game and team comp which made it much more fun to explore with the new team instead of old, a variety of toys is better than a few after all.

#2 This game can be beaten with a 4* weapon hence why you don't need a more powerful weapon unless you just want to see a big numbers regardless of content.

3# There is no content and probably will never be a content that require you to have a 5* weapon in this game; thus, its better for you to have fun with your characters exploring rather than worrying about weapons.

4# There is plenty of good star 4* star weapon in the game and if you are that much worry about the weapon without having to spend too much money, go get a welkin moon weapon since its one of the most used and pretty strong 4* weapon and you can collect multiple as long as you plan to spend some bucks.
