My advice is to go for weapon banners where you want both weapons and not just one.

As someone who FREAKING NEVER PULLED IN A WEAPON BANNER i cant relate :)

Many people told me to not pull on the weapon banner if you don't have enough primos to guarantee the weapon you want. Because of that I've never really tried to pull on the weapon banner. But when Ayaka's rerun banner came, I had to get her and her weapon since she's the reason I played genshin. I have 48k primos saved at that time, I got both her and her weapon using only 20k primos, my first time pulling on weapon banner, and immediately got lucky with only 30 pulls to get mistsplitter xD

Generally I believe weapon banner actually holds MORE value than character banners once you have a wide variety of characters to chose from. Owning a big range of weapons can make team building a lot more fun and also easier. Last characters I will pull for are probably Furina as well as Nahidas C1 & C2 and then I will take a few months to a year to just focus on aquiring more weapons and building the characters I have.

I remember the time I wanted Nilou's weapon and pulled on weapon banner during 3.6 in Nahida's and Nilou's banners, I was fine with any featured weapon (Since I had Nahida and wanted an HP% weapon) but ended up with an Aquila Favonia 💀💀

Ngl, I've pulled on the weapon banner 3 times and all the weapons I got from it improved my gameplay experience IMMENSELY, even if I didn't win

To be honest at certain point you may want 5star weapons if you had some 5star char and at that point even the 4star weapons you get will help with refinement and some of th 5star are really good

I've had some amazing luck both times I wished on weapon banner, getting the desired five star in under 50 pulls.

Maybe if I still have enough wishes after getting characters I'll start doing a single ten pull on ever good weapon banner

In the last weapon banner (lyney and yelan's one) I wanted aqua simulacra and I had almost 80 pulls. After 50 pulls I got... SKYWARD ATLAS. I was like "you could even give me lyney's bow because I pulled him, BUT YOU GAVE ME A CATALYST". Then I farmed as crazy and explored fontaine, got another time on soft pity aaaand... Lyney's bow. I was okay but still it was like I lost 2 times 50/50🥲. Fortunately at the end, with a lot of farming and events, I got another 20 pulls and finally got my aqua simulacra 🫶.
I'll NEVER. EVER. Pull again on weapon banner.

I started pulling on the weapon banner at itto's first banner, never regretted that and in all honesty the weapon banner has been a balanced and rewarding thing for me, it helped me have a convenience of character building, crit ratio balancing, and having in many cases a universal weapon for the majority of my characters (aqua as the main highlight) I do recommend pulling on it if you have a great selection of characters and if you do have a no loss banner, by which neither of the weapons will be a negative to your account (the aqua and homa banner as an example)

Weapon banners only worth it if you want both of the focus ones. Because it will give you the wrong one first. Two of my siblings have Kagura's verity from different weapon banners when Yae Miko was running & neither of them want it, & I have light of foliar incision & the only way any of the characters I own can use it is getting 6 more Lynettes or getting 6 more Bennetts & also building him (which is kinda wild because I have 8 sword units & the only one who isn't built is Bennett yet not a single one can use it). But if you want both of the weapons, it's great!

As someone who has only wished for one weapon(my first time wishing on weapon banner) and got it in 50 pulls, i can't relate

just pull on weapon banners where both are good (e.g. yelan/lyney banner was insane to pull on if you needed a ganyu bow)

I got many signature weapons by accident on an average pity of 20, sorry guys, I think the weapon banner loves me (the character banner hates me tho)

As an f2p player I dont think weapon banners are a scam but I only pull when there are 2 good event weapons because the 50/50 is way more tricky
