Actually the body's core temperature goes up in response to cold exposure- so a cold shower and drinking cold water may feel nice in that moment, but are achieving the opposite effect throughout the day

Spray yourself with a light mist of water from a spray bottle then stand in front of a fan or ride a bike or take a drive with the wind blowing on you .
Also wet a shirt and wear it in the wind or on a bike etc...
The evaporation of the water on your skin will instantly cool you down . Repeat ...
Note that doing this in your house will also increase the humidity level so outdoors is better.

for me i take hot showers, sounds weird but if i have a cold shower before bed it just makes the heat feel worse, im sure you can start out on a cold shower but definately go hot cause when you step out the air feels way cooler

Guys do not do a cold shower at night

You get more active after doing a cold shower which gives you more energy therefore, it makes you struggle to sleep

Tip: dont drink cold water during summer, when you drink cold water and go outside there is a high percentage of you getting a stroke
