One feature I love is the ability to hold down the mute button to mute the entire system, that is an amazing quality of life improvement. That being said one shortcut ability I would personally like to see involves using the often neglected TouchPad. For instance, what if while on the home screen, we could use 2 fingers on the TouchPad and swipe either left and right or up and down to quickly adjust the system' overall volume and screen brightness? That would be awesome to quickly quiet the tv or tone down the brightness due to changes in your playing environment. Those are just major settings that would be nice to be accessible quickly without going through menus or grabbing your TV remote.

Thank you for discussing the rest mode issue. I've been periodically checking to see if that's been officially fixed and it's hard to find clear answers. I live in a country where it would be very hard to get my ps5 fixed if anything happens to it, so I've just been avoiding rest mode altogether until it's clear the problem has been resolved. Your updates are greatly appreciated.

I hope the "LAN cable unplugged" error is fixed. I haven't seen it in a couple of weeks, thankfully, but it is really annoying when you're playing online or streaming via PS Now and get kicked because the PS5 thinks I unplugged the LAN cable and immediately plugged it back in a few times.

I just got my PS5 yesterday. Thank you for that last tip. I will be taking it out of rest mode till we get better news. Been waiting for 7 months to get this and now that I got it, it would be terrible for it to get ruined by this little feature . Thanks again

My PS5 has been very quiet. I've had it for about a month or so now and it's been way more quiet than my PS3 and PS4. I can't even hear it unless I put my ear to it.

Trophies got a slight update too. When looking through the trophy list it’s now much easier to reveal information on “Hidden Trophies”

Didn't the controller always tell you how much battery was left? It did for me before this update.
