The LG / Google Nexus 5 is undoubtedly one of the best phones of 2013 but how does it stack up to superphones like the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Apple iPhone 5s? Austin you must have a bad unit becuase most people are getting at least 10 hours of stand by time and 5 hours of screen on time. I reviewed the nexus 5 and has good battery life.

For battery life fix:
root it and then under clock it (1.5 GHz or so), set profiles for screen off, edit the WiFi scan interval, change the stock governors and i/o scheduler, ETC.

I just got it the other day and I get the better part of two days on a charge.  Maybe I don't use my phone as much but, I don't seem to be having the problem that most reviews have talked about.  I sell phone so I am on it showing it to customers a lot.  Maybe I got a really good one?
