Ever since we put this cookie in our London Soho Bakery, you guys have been salivating for it. It's finally here! A dark double chocolate chip cookie, laced with Oreo crumble, white chocolate chips, 54% chocolate chips, filled with a molten creamy white chocolate filling. We love these cookies because they're thick, ooey, gooey and that perfect balance between a crisp outer and a dense, soft, almost underbaked centre.

INGREDIENTS:

12 tbsp White Chocolate Spread
230g Cold, Chopped Butter
160g Light Brown Sugar
160g Caster Sugar
300g White Chocolate Chips
100g Dark Chocolate Chips
50g Crushed Oreo Crumbs
300g Plain Flour
130g Self Raising Flour
70g Black Cocoa Powder
1 tsp Sea Salt
2 tsp Baking Powder
2 Eggs
1 Egg Yolk
50g Crushed Oreo Cookies for Rolling
Makes 12 Cookies

okay so i made these and oH MY they were absolutely amazing. i made them for a dinner party and everyone absolutely loved them (and took some home with them). theyre heavy but theyre heavenly. i cant recommend this enough and if they dont spread for you, i slammed the baking tray on the counter halfway through baking and then again when they were done and they flattened for me. so worth it though i somehow made mine huge (150g) so i had to bake it for a bit longer but they were so good.

I made these cookies with homemade white chocolate ganache for the filling and they were AMAZING. So indulgent and rich and delicious. I will definitely be making them again!

Hi Jemma! I had to make the Oreo cookie portion without the cream from scratch and found it on one of your videos. Ty. This way I wouldn't have to remove the middles. Then made the entire recipe yesterday and froze them last night. Then I baked them early in the am to check them out after they cooled. These cookies are fabulous and I cannot wait to make a second batch for a friend. Thank you so much for your recipes they are fantastic. It is insane how serendipitous this is! This afternoon, I am making chocolate mint NY style cookies for a friend at work. I'll be using the double chocolate cookie recipe in the cookbook (using part chocolate chips and part Andes), but I was contemplating making a filling by adding a little mint oil and green coloring to melted white chocolate to put in the center.
Now, to figure out how to make white chocolate spread...

I was in London for the first time last month, and the only thing on my bucket list was to visit C&D. So glad it was only a 10 minute walk from my hotel. I got some yummy cupcakes, and cupcake keychain to bring back to LA with me!

In the US, Target has a white & dark chocolate spread that would probably work pretty well. I also saw just white chocolate spread on Amazon, but more pricey than Target.
