This is how God almost killed Moses.

At one point, God gives Moses instructions on what he must do to help free the Israelites from Egypt's pharaoh. God gave Moses special abilities, such as the ability to turn his staff into a snake. But, as Moses heads towards Egypt, the all knowing and all loving God comes up with an idea on the fly. He decides that he is going to whack Moses. In case you don't know, that means "Kill".

The Bible in Exodus 4, verse 24 to 26, says:
"At a lodging place on the way, the Lord met Moses and was about to kill him. But Zipporah [the wife of Moses] took a flint knife, cut off her son's foreskin and touched Moses' feet with it. 'Surely you are a bridegroom of blood to me,' she said. So the Lord let him alone,"

The incident is typically interpreted as God being displeased with Moses, possibly because he had not circumcised his son, which was a critical sign of the covenant between God and Abraham's descendants. Zipporah, Moses' wife, quickly performs the circumcision, and this act appeases God's wrath, allowing Moses to continue his mission to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.

This is a sign of a covenant between God and the Israelites. God was going to kill Moses because though he was a faithful servant, the most humble of all as a matter of fact, he didn’t follow the requisites of this covenant so his wife intervened and cut off her son’s foreskin as God had said in Genesis 17:11. God doesn’t contradict Himself ever, as a matter of fact He is so faithful in His word that was willing to kill Moses for not obeying the covenant sign. It’s beautiful that everything points to Jesus, even this covenant of circumcision but I’ll let you research how on your own. God bless, don’t walk away from your faith in God just because this story doesn’t seem pretty although it is.

Circumcision was to separate the Israelites from the gentiles. It was a sign of cleanliness. And Moses's son not being circumcized. Was one of the traditions of false idols. Like Baal and others that the Canaanites worshiped. Which was very disrespectful to Yahweh. Coming from his chosen prophet and Savior of his chosen people. Well that's the best way I can put it. I don't need any help figuring it out because I read the Bible this is all explained in Exodus back then it was a law & a major sin if you did not circumcise your son. God the most high was very serious about this Luke 12:5 fear the lord

I've found that about 70% of the text in the Bible is extremely disturbing. I've never heard this story about Moses but it's pretty concerning that people worship a God that would kill his own people/servants. God was literally about to kill Moses over a circumcision. This contradicts God's message but it is in the Bible which is the word of God. I suppose that God contradicts himself.

Oh man! The Bible just gets stranger and stranger! The more I read the Bible the more I start to question it and I'm beginning to wonder what kind of tool would write some simpleton type texts like this.
