This is such a good way to teach this. You give intuition behind how it works, you show how the electricity flows through the circuit (which is awesome!) and then you show the waveforms with this. Your video could not be better, please keep making more like this because this is very rare in the electronics field! Thank

this explains way better then 99% of examples they all fail to explain that is reversed load and probably made many people putting the cap the wrong direction

I was told that voltage from solar panels remain nearly constant in bright sunlight or in the shade and that it is current output from the panel that changes drastically from when in shade and direct sunlight. At 7:17 of the video you mention to the contrary.

i just want to say thank you

you are the first one that i watch on the internet that mentions the inductors sign change when switch is on or off in all text books they leave the same sign on the inductor and tell you that it will forward bias the diode but it doesn't make sense
