4 [Advanced] Real Estate Investment Analyses You Should Be Using // There are a lot of things that you can do to improve a real estate investment analysis, but if you really want to take things to the next level, there are a few extras that are definitely worth considering adding to your real estate financial models.

These things can help you proactively address investor concerns, add an extra layer of assurance when underwriting your own deals, or just impress your boss if you’re working in an analytical role.

So in this week's video, we'll cover four of the most helpful and advanced analysis concepts that I’ve picked up from my 10+ years working alongside some of the biggest institutions in commercial real estate, and how each of these can be used within a real estate financial model.

What other types of analyses do you run on deals?

Hey, I’ve been a member of bicre for a few years and your courses are excellent! I highly recommend them for anyone trying to get a better understanding of how real estate investment analysis works.

While most of the courses are centered around underwriting analysis, it would be interesting to see a course that focuses on the outputs/PowerPoint, and presentation component of the analysis. As developing an investment committee style presentation is just as important for the workforce! Catching a glimpse into the key presentation components you have learned over the years would be invaluable to your members!

Hey, I took a role as a Financial Analyst on the brokerage side at M&M. Does that limit me to only brokerage in the future? Or could I still get into the principal side down the road? Just curious to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks!

do you have courses/analysis that covers savings for tenants like if they should stay at the property or should they move and relocate? I mean anything that covers from client's/tenant perspective? like stay v/s go analysis, freehold v/s leasehold?

Great video, I just implemented an IRR partition table into one of my BTR affordable housing models earlier today.
If it’s not too much of a rabbit hole, how would you do a valuation of an asset with a guaranteed subsidy for a term, say 10 years.
I’m thinking that you PV the NOI for the term and separately PV the future sale assumed at the term end via cap rate.

A market update on capital markets and equity investment appetites across sectors would be cool.
