Seriously, in 2024, we don't really care about speed or tork. They all do fine now. Precision, Noise, durability, weight and capacity to fit in crammed places are the "differenciators".

Amazingly well-made comparison
For me..
2953-20 (M18 FUEL Gen4) for big stuff (installations)
3453-20 (M12 FUEL Gen 3) for day-to-day work stuff/home (service calls)
2656-20 (brushed M18) as a backup in the car (costs under $50 tool only on Amazon at current prices..)

M12 Surge (hydraulic & quiet) is gonna stay at home together with my
Bosch Chameleon installation driver.. (BOSCH GSR12V-300FCB22) (best clutched driver when it come to lowest torque settings available)
