- Get a mid torque if you only need 1 tool and you know that you won't ever need to work on a big truck or tractor.
- Get a low torque and high torque if you have money and you know that it will open anything with a high torque that the low one won't cover. Low torque is light to use as a daily tool.
- Get a single high torque if you will never work on the car and you just know that you will need it someday, high torque will cover everything.
- Get all if you are a mechanic or you just like to collect tools (this is me)

I bought the midtorque for personal use. It’s paid for itself many times over as I have my family’s 4 cars to repair and maintain. Probably paid for itself just on tire rotations alone lol. It’s pressed ball joints too, it just didn’t zip them in and out like a high torque would’ve.

If you’re just going to buy one, get a mid torque. If you’re going to buy two get a high torque and a 3/8th stubby.

I have most of these M12 impacts, and they all have their place. The right angle, get the 3/8", it is, for some reason, more powerful than the 1/2" version. I returned the 1/2". The M12 Stubby, the 3/8" version is the BOMB! I love that thing. The extended ratchets, the 3/8" is a keeper, really nice when working in tight spaces. I have the mid torque too, but have yet to find a use for it. Then I have the high torque 1/2", I think 1200 ftlb version. That has saved my bacon more than a few times and a tool everyone should own that works on vehicles. I am using the snot out of all of these tearing down a Cummins 15 liter ISX motor for an engine transplant, and could not imagine doing this with had tools. Milwaukee is impressing the hell out of me with this lineup.

I'm a farmer and uses range wildly. My daily driver which I wouldn't go without anymore is the 2555. Even with cheap chrome sockets it does a great job. For the bigger jobs I have a 2767A, which if I'm being honest, doesn't get used nearly as often as I thought. Mainly it does lug bolts, but I love it for working on tillage tools replacing spikes. Beyond that I reach for a 3/4" air impact or a breaker bar and a 5 foot snipe haha

I am a steel erector and I love Milwaukee but I have to use Dewalt because the battery connection on the Milwaukee wares out after about a month of use.

Where does Milwaukee 2855-20 land in this ranking? I understand it didn’t make the list but anyone know if it’s a decent tool for at home automotive purposes?

Hello again Pro Tool Reviews
Thank you for another Great Video 👍 Question for you, after the Milwaukee 2767B situation. Can we trust Milwaukee to make a reliable Tool. Such as the prior tools? I did have the M12 combo kit. I have to admit I wasn't crazy about where the forward and reverse switches are position. It was too easy to do a uncommanded direction. I also began to wonder about how secure the battery was. It did not fall out. This is just some of the things I noticed about my Milwaukee experience. I guess, I have to ask you guys. Is there a suitable substitute for the Milwaukee line of tools. Again thank you 😊

m18 compact 3/8 is nice due to the handle being smaller but the battery is so big it gets in the way. stubby 3/8 is nice but i wish m12 batteries didn't make the handle so fat. milwaukee needs to make stronger more durable small m12 batteries. i'm torn can't decide what to get.
