Excellent work by Mr. Vasiliev. I especially like how he doesn't show off or come way too close for comfort to accidentally injure his students.

How about instead of trying to move with the stick, you get out of the way of it or you trap it. Also, I really want to see you try this against a HEMA practitioner with a broad sword.

Looks as if he's trying to hit Vasiliev with his fist while holding the stick.  I don't see any use of the advantage of the long range of the stick, which is the hard part for disarming.
