People here complaining this tool wouldnt work have never used the product. This is the Lamello Invis Mx2. The magnetic spinning bit creates a rotational force that at a certain threshold triggers an impact force within the screw itself, short high levels of torque that create that tight grip. Its usually always paired with glue or another fastener anyway. Actually incredible design. Everything lamello makes are some of the highest grade most innovative fasteners in the industry.

I like it. I’ve built many wooden railings and furniture with hard wood and the most time consuming part is properly filling all the screw holes so that they appear seamless. You don’t just plaster it on, you have to make holes and buttons with matching grain. This would save on that, though I’d be inclined to think inserting the fasteners would take up about the same amount of time, but you will always be the cool guy at the job site with one of these bad boys
