If youre going to use wood glue why not just use a dowel. Most of the holding force of those joint comes from the glue.

Considering the system's price I'd use it for high-end wooden furniture; it seems able to sustain a lot of stress/weight so it should probabily last a long time. Indeed I think most of the Italian high-end forniture maker (e.g. Scavolini or Semeraro) use Lamello's "Cabineo" or "Clamex" series to joint their furniture

I see advantages as well as down sides. No dowels is good but well placed dowels are almost invisible. Downs are the cost and learning curve with time spent learning. Neat invention tho. Thanks Brent. Always good content! When I say dowels I actually mean wood plugs. Sorry!

I’m sure it’s crazy expensive from that brand. Maybe why you didn’t mention price. But it can definitely revolutionize how pocket holes and floating shelves will be installed. As for screw to keep down template, I’d probably use a clamp rather than having to hide that screw hole.

Yooo I loved this video but I have to tell you in the future when trying to hang off of something try lighting your self up with it to have your arms below you it adds the same amount of weight but in the case of the table legs if it broke you would land on your feet not your knees which it really up to you it I wouldn't have written anything about it if it were just that but when you hung from the shelf it that broke it couldn't flung the shelf straight into your head with enough force to seriously change your life if not kill you which I can tell is not what you were trying to prove by that. To be honest probably wouldn't have occurred to me either of it weren't for the fact that it happens to two uncles of mine so everyone my age and younger in the family has had this talk times
