Thanks for your review. I could definitely use something like this for my daughter's iPad. She pulls on the cord to unplug it, i have several broken ones just like yours. My only critique is that it's not a quick charge but not a deal breaker.

MacBooks have magnetic chargers too, so it surprised me that someone made one for an Android phone

An added benefit is that if you leave the phone part plugged in, it will keep pocket lint out of your socket. I would like to know how long it takes to charge the phone with a regular cable for comparison. Also, if you are using the phone while plugged in, how easy is it to accidentally dislodge the magnet?

Love the video. Had to get past the fact you remind me of Luke from The Ranch on Netflix. I used a magnetic charging cord (not a Comet). It didnt do well, but maybe the Comet is better

Fast charge ONLY works between approx. 25% and 75% of charge.

If you put a phone on a fast charger and want to go from 0% to 100% it will actually take LONGER than using a normal charge.

Never mind that fast charging will damage the battery a lot more than normal charging.

Wait so if you're using the same 2A charger it charges slower with these magnetic cables compared to regular cables? You should try this with a battery monitoring app to see what's really going on.

rite ive seen the little bits now i get it...it carnt use alot of power cos it will shock you my charger shocks me so there needs to be less charge but its better saves ya phone port and battry cos it cuts off once it grts to a 100 i seen on a diff video

My son breaks the spring prongs on his chargers after 2 or 3 uses so they fall out of his tablet. I'm thinking this will be best for him

My magnetic USB charger cable charges according to what power source I have it plugged into. If I plug it into my computer or the USB port in my car it charges at the standard rate. If I charge it into the wall adapter that came with my Moto G phone, it rapid charges in half the time of the other power sources.

ive beensayin for years there must be another way to charge a phone except from wireless thats to far into he future 4 m ive got a samsung s6 i charge is 5 to 6 times a day im on it alot i got throu a phone every 8 to 12 months the bsttry blows and i have a box full of wire cables wich dont work or part work its silly a dont grt it thou do u have to put something in the charger port for it to stick to i dont get it how does it charge ya just sticking the magnet to it something needs to go in the phone to charhe it

I tried this charger for about a month. Starting to have volume issues. Low volume when in bluetooth and phone. Stop using this device.

I bought one and charges my note 9 super slow and says 7 hours to fully charge -___-
