Don't you think this is the perfect example of unnecessary overengineered product? I mean, do we really need such a bulcky connections? Maybe it's a great product for military our outdoor use, but for everyday use I find it a bit too much.... what do you think?

Interesting product idea. All I can think of with the coiled cable though is how irritating it would be to have your cable constantly pulling on whatever you're using (ipad, iPhone, MacBook). The resistance may not be much, but that constant pulling seems like it would get old pretty fast, and probably wouldn't be very good on the ports it's plugged into. But maybe the whole intent is to use it purely as an extender, where it hopefully won't be putting tension on the device anyway.

This set costs 99 USD

For that money, I just buy 4 premium charging cables from Anker and I can use them all at the same time, to charge different devices.

pricing for this product is insane. 100 bucks for some charging cables is nuts.

There’s way too much going on, for this to be anything other than a house/desk cable

These cables violates the USB-C product specifications. I can see manufacturers, voiding your warranty by using a cable like this. Data transfer with this cable. Probably not or USB 2 speeds data transfer speeds. Does it go over 3A? If so, it could damage your equipment.

really quick tip, make the off angles where you arent looking at the camera a little higher, it feels slightly off otherwise. the video is amazing though! thanks so much for the review!

I’m not really impressed with the cable kit. But very impressed by the quality and time put into this video. So you got you a new subscriber. Guess it’s time to see what else you got on your channel.

The previous version of PD protocol supported up to 100W. 240W is hard to use in normal scenario

I bought something like this from Dewalt. It was 10 feet, looked durable and was coiled and braided. It never worked and cos I did not use right away, I only received store credit and was at an odd sale price. While, I'd like something like this, I still have buyer's remorse from my last purchase. Also, if anyone knows, how does this compare to the Glorious cable. Both products look nearly the same. (Right now, I only use braided HeyDey cables in the 10 food variant for about $25.00. Very good quality and last much longer than Apple cables and the length is great.) This video is nearly un unboxing, so I dont think it speaks to the durability of the cables. Thanks for any input from those who have experience.

Would’ve been Nice to see a MagSafe and IEC 13 adapter as well as making it a Thunderbolt 4 cable end to end. This is just a glorified USB C and lightning adapter. Lightning is going away completely very soon now anyway.

I now have two of these and assemble them all together for a super long charging cable.
But the reviewer missed out the BEST feature.
Each mini cable has a led built in which indicates, green when it’s not charging, blue for normal charging and yellow for super fast charging over 15w.
It’s great in the dark, you can easily see the end of your cable and plug it in and see immediately if it’s charging at max speed.
Can’t see how the presenter missed this feature.
I absolutely love these cables. I’m not paid to use them and paid for both my units.

premium look, feel and pricing. That's all ok, but I think the long coiled extension is possibly a design problem - yes it coils up and packdown really nicely. It's much more elegant than velcro loops and all that. But a cable with no coils doesn't want to recoil and thus won't put any extra tension on the port at either end. The screw securing ends are cool, and add to that premium feel, but I'd actually rather have _that_ be the point a cable accidentally comes unplugged from - like if someone walks into it, you're taking stresses away from the device port. A "not quite magsafe".

I did balk at the pricing at first... but then it actually isn't so bad for the 100W+ cables, and for MFi certified lightning. I think those are the points that actually make it a decent cable set. (I wish the long coiled cable was un uncoiled male-to-male, and had a very short "female-to-female" so each cable was usable in it's own right. But maybe I'm getting into "that's a grat toaster.. but why can't it charge my phone and send emails?" territory)

Apple be like: nah no charger. Just cable. AOHi be like: nah no charger. Just cable. For 80 bucks. Buy the charger separate, we recommend the fast-charge 120 watt. At an additional 109 bucks. Total: a measly 200 bucks. That might sound like a bargain.. but hold on there is more.. you got yourself a spring-loaded cable that will drag the whole iPhone out of your hand if you let it slip. Now that is exciting and very handy.

We want a 6 foot cable with 90 angle port connection so the stress doesn’t fray connection. That cable is too short for those of us who leave our cords in. I used my iPad Air for 5 years and the cattery is like new, but the cords broke frequently at the connection port

This is so bulky though. You could just get a long standard cable, then get tiny adapters for that, ie C to A, C to lightning, C to Micro. And that's much much much smaller. That said I like your enthusiasm! :D

I just bought some of the Statik cables and enough tips to fit all of our devices. The available tips include: USB-C, Micro-USB and Lightning. Each cable attaches magnetically to all of the tips.

$209-417 ?! for just a pretty box and interchangeable cable adapters (not so un-similar to what you mentioned about the interchangeable caps). cable quality seems good but doesn't worth that much. is this a sponsored video? coiled cables on amazon is $15-30, adapters, less than that. the cables I've gotten are all as advertised - fast charting and data capable.

I'm sure something like this is for a die hard techie, not for the avg consumer that wants great quality for dirt cheap. Theres a reason why cheaper accessories have a higher selling rate
