What Can $10 Get in KAZAKHSTAN?

Kazakhstan is a fascinating country and one that is not often visited by tourists.

Despite the freezing cold weather of -18C (-1F) when I visited, I managed to have a great time in the capital of Astana, and I was shocked to see how modern it is. It is Kazakhstan's newly designated capital (1998) which moved from Almaty, and over the last 20 years, it has rapidly developed from basically nothing into an international hub with many skyscrapers and futuristic buildings.

In this video, find out which strange new foods I ate in Kazakhstan, and what else I got for $10!

Please Note that this video is over a year old (I am reposting the entire '$10 series' as I only shared it on FB and not YT). As you'll notice, the editing is not great and it moves way too fast, but I still wanted to share it with you anyways. As always, thanks for watching my videos!

So glad that you made it in Kazakhstan! But, Drew, Astana is not the best way of exploring our country, you better visit southern cities like Almaty and Shymkent to experience the true Kazakh vibes, and you will definitely like it for sure!

Bro, you should have come to Almaty, good climate, beautiful nature. If you want to go to Kazakhstan, you have to go to the southern regions. There you can see mountains, lakes, deserts, canyons, cities. All at once.

The capital of Kazakhstan is expensive for shopping or just to stay there. You should go next time to Borovoe, Almaty, Katon-Karagai, Rahmanov keys. They are very beautiful and not so expensive.
