Im chamorro palauan living on Guam. That 9yr old girl you met at the lookout can also climb the coconut trees, husk the coconuts and make the coconut candy. I have a video of her climbing a tall tree to get a coconut for me. Would have been cool for you to see. Love thst you supported her. I seen alot of tourist reject her candy and thats all the family has to make income. Loved this video

Guam’s people are truly proud of their cultural heritage. A truly warm and welcoming people. The many stories of villager courage in American history is heroic. This proud Chamorro history is shown through the cultural expressions with Taotaomo’na Tatu artist Philip Sablan. Amazing people!

Its so interesting that in Puerto Rico (our closest territory) most the population doesn't speak English well. Yet Guam which is in the other side of the world they speak English perfectly with a clear American accent.

I’m so glad you did a video of Guam. I wish you could experience more of what the people have to offer. Sundays are family/village days, you’ll find families at the beaches or parks all day cooking up some amazing foods. $10 can get you a pint of strawberries 😂 in all seriousness, we were stationed on Guam for 3 years. One of the best experiences of my life. The culture is amazing and the people are so nice! We just left this summer. My 9 year old is so homesick for that island ❤️
