Why Marvel and DC films look so different?

I say marvel and dc should just keep doing their own things. Both shouldn’t try to be each other. Take the flash movie for example, it tried to do marvel’s “cg things” and end up with weird visuals.

In the comics, historically, DC was considered fantastic, while Marvel was considered more mundane, more grounded.

What you said in this is sort of right, but you cannot completely say that marvel is trash or unwatchable, from the kick start if marvel through Ironman 1, 2 and 3 it has been massive, and then captain America the first avenger, thor, incredible hulk, these were very nice movies.
And if you're saying that their isn't any color gradient in films, and being "dark" Means having depth, then bro chill out marvel and DC started form comic books and animation and then movies so i don't think they need depth, but there's are characters like - bat man, captain America, wanda, joker, Harley Quinn, winter soldier, falcon, black widow, i can go on.
The point is that one is more comic accurate and the other is more practical but there are people flying with caps in both the MCU and the DCU, and we know which one is doing better.

MCU movies are editted better than most movies, let alone better than DC. P.S. Christopher Nolan Produced DC movies surpass the genre.

Marvel looks plain and boring. The only one I really like is the first Iron Man. The Dark Knight Trilogy and the Batman are great. I prefer DC.
