I did this by accident with my feet (putting lotion on and then socks before bed to sleep in) for a few weeks and my feet were SO soft it backfired because they became too delicate so it hurt to walk barefoot haha but definitely recommend for those with really dry feet! I just didnt need it and went overboard but it definitely works!!

Excellent advice for Nurses, hairdressers and anyone who has to frequently wash their hands for work. I recommend going to bed with the gloves on and remove the following morning. Does wonders for excema and dermatitis and Raynauds conditions. My favourite moisturiser for extreme dry hands is Hamilton 10% urea. 😊

As a person with eczema this has been a part of my nightly routine for a few years now! Personally I cut off a tiny bit of the tips on the gloves to make it so I can still use my phone. (Also pro tip, make sure your hands are a little bit damn before applying moisturiser, it'll lead to far deeper hydration and do this at night as it'll bother you the least)

I worked as a cashier during the pandemic. Constantly had to wipe my area every guest. That led to super dry hands that I would get wounds with scratch since there were sharp edges, or the bags of chips. When gloves made available for us, I happened to put petrolatum to help with moisture and protect my hands then put the gloves on.

I was amazed on how it looked and how soft it has become that I made it a habit at work. It’ll make your hands looking soft, healthy, shiny and moisturized.

i had super dry & cracked knuckles as a kid- so bad theyd bleed everywhere. my mom smothered my hands in ointment and put my hands in gloves... no more cracked knuckles for at least a few days :)

As I have gotten older I experience pain eczema, cracked, and bleeding hands, especially when it gets cooler in Florida. In the warmer months I would do this and sleep with ointment and gloves on on occasion, but as the weather has gotten cooler here I do it every night now. It definitely makes a HUGE difference.

I do the same thing with vasoline & fuzzy socks to wear overnight. It's amazing the benefit after only one night. By morning the vasoline is all absorbed & I toss the socks in the laundry hamper. 😊
