Rats are so smart. Never touch the trap with bare hands. Always use latex or vinyl gloves, which you FIRST put on, then rub in the damp dirt outside. Only then do you handle the trap. Peanut butter is excellent bait.

Have you figured out how to work on these? ANother almost new one goes dead.

This guy has a REALLY heavy accent. He doesn't call them "RATS". He calls them "RETS"! :-)

it is not clear how you reach the back of the trap
i would be clear if you could show the inside of the trap
do you put the bait on the opening that has bars or on the floor of the trap on front of the
bars?
please help!!!

Don't work that good. Rats would not go in there. I returned it...
I heard you must bait it with free food. Rats get used to going in it. Then after a few days...you put on the electricity.
