I have so much respect and appreciation for ICU Nurses wherever they work. They took amazing care of a couple of my family members and me when each of us were in the ICU. These Nurses not only cared about their patients but the family and close friends.

May God grant all Nurses His wisdom, discernment, compassion, strength, blessings, and guidance all the days of their lives.

I just love the ICU nurses!! Took care of me so well when I had preeclampsia. They even helped me with breast pump, first time mommy.

My mother spent a day in the ICU last week because she died briefly during a routine surgery.
She said that some of the nurses were phenomenal (while a few of the nurses had no clue what the heck they were doing and almost killed her again 😅)
But the night nurses were amazing and had me and my family so at ease with leaving her there for the night, and I will always be grateful to them for that ❤

My spouse asked me the other day if they still use pagers in hospitals. I didn't have an answer then. Now i do! He was so happy to learn this

I was in for a liver transplant and there wasn't room in the pre-op ward, so I stayed in ICU. They called me their “walkie-talkie”. After my operation I was kept in a coma for a few days and when I woke who did I see? My two favourite ICU nurses.

As a nanny my favorite job was for an icu nurse. She not only told me when I could push through (migraine no but random headaches she has a full system that worked for me after one hour talk) (I owing the difference is magic) but if sick (fever, joint symptoms and more ) she told me what to do to get better and what to look for in future so I can catch the sighs so I’m better to help nurses or people with various issues.

I'm hearing these nurses are overworked and underappreciated. Why do they make them look like harried, messy haired, tired and the uniform is on the bottom of the heap when it comes to letting them have the respect they deserve. Elevate this job!!
