I love how thorough you are with getting them used to each other’s presence before meeting. So many owners just throw their animals into a new environment/situation and then get surprised or upset when it doesn’t end well. Hope these two baby’s become good friends 🥰🫶

Il liked your way of introduction. There are some people who just bring the new pets face to face with the old ones and just force them to accept each other .

They open their mouths to take in more scent, the corners of cats noses have that little notch to allow air to flow, and opening the mouth pulls more into their sensors
